Porsche driver Richard Pusey avoided Eastern Freeway crash because he was ‘urinating on the side of the road’ A Highway Patrol car pulled him over and carried out a drug test. His saliva allegedly returned a positive result and two more officers were called to assist in impounding his Porsche. Within minutes of the second patrol car arriving, a refrigerated truck being driven by Cranbourne man Mohinder Singh Bajwa struck the three cars and the four officers. Pusey avoided the crash and fled the scene unharmed. It’s now believed he was urinating at the side of the road when the truck hit the cars. Police commissioner Graham Ashton has revealed Mohinder Singh Bajwa is facing questioning by homicide detectives. He has been at the Royal Melbourne Hospital since the accident on Wednesday night which left four police officers dead. Bajwa’s truck reportedly came off the Eastern Freeway while travelling at 100kph, colliding with the officers who had pulled over a Porsche in the emergency lane.
